(Please remember, these are antique and vintage items. We get them in good condition, but never perfect, because they're old, used, have patina and history of age, which is why we love them. We tried to photograph them from every angle for you . . . so you can get a good look at them. We wouldn't sell anything here at Susan Branch that we ourselves wouldn't want . . . please be sure it's going to work for you as these items are not returnable.)

In MARTHA'S VINEYARD, ISLE OF DREAMS, Susan packs up her broken heart and flies away from California to follow her long-time dream of living in New England and experiencing the four seasons. Having fallen in love with Martha's Vineyard (an island off the coast of Massachusetts) during a short visit seven years earlier, Susan decides it would be the perfect place to stay for a three-month period "just to try it." When she gets there, she slowly comes to realize that nothing is the same, that everything has changed, and so much of it is new. She finds healing in the sea and surf that surrounds the island; she sees magic in snowstorms and autumn leaves, lobster dinners, heart shaped rocks, ferry boats, mittens, winter clothes, fireflies, deep woods, daffodils, church bells, and the discovery of a tiny cottage in the woods that becomes her first "house of creativity" and her inspiration for writing her first book. Starting over is the theme of this book, and the slowly dawning revelations in Susan's struggle to make her dreams come true.
